TBS Gives ‘My Boys’ Season Three

by Chandra on October 8th, 2008

Jordana SpiroFear not, My Boys and Jordana Spiro fans. Home network TBS announced on Tuesday that the sitcom about Chicago-based, 20-something sportswriter PJ Franklin will live to see a third season. The run will have a total of nine episodes and will premiere in the first quarter of 2009.

Now all we have to do is wait patiently until then to learn the resolution of the Season Two wedding cliffhanger. It was during the finale that almost-groom Bobby (Kyle Howard) finally began to examine his feelings for PJ, who, unfortunately, had already struck up a relationship with his brother. I can’t wait to see how all that works out.

Excellent show, which unfortunately hard to come by recently. Well written, well casted, seems to be good chemistry; and of course it doesn’t hurt that Ms. Spiro’s character is not only exceedingly hot, but surprisingly cool as well. Keep it going TBS, we’re enjoying it thus far.

I’m glad My Boys is finally coming back! But I’m bummed its only nine episodes.I’m worried that it might also be My Boys’ last season,I really hope its not.Its a great show and I would LOVE to see it go further.

I so love this show. The writing is amazingly funny! Definitely don’t want this to be the last season. Liked the first episode tonight but didn’t think PJ & Bobby looked very comfortable kissing at the end- Bobby had a bit of an awdward stance.

Fresh, human, sharp and completely watchable. The kind of characters you can actually see yourself in a relationship with - unlike most characters on TV today. Don’t stop - you will turn sit-com death-throes into solid gold!
