Did “Last Voyage of the Jimmy Carter,” last week’s March 20th episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles, rock or what? I didn’t think the series had one that emotionally moving in it, but it sure was satisfying being proven wrong.
With only three episodes left now and the Internets filled with certainty the show is going to be canceled, I continue on my quest refusing to believe that’s true. The reason why includes the intriguing storylines Terminator has yet to wrap up, such as those on the next-to-last-episode of the second season, April 3rd’s “Adam Raised a Cain.”

Terminator: ‘To The Lighthouse’ in Photos

The March 27 episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is called “To The Lighthouse,” and Fox promises that viewers will see a darker side of the already supremely disturbing John Henry during it, either before or after the cyborg somehow becomes comprised.
Meanwhile, apparently more fearful for her life than usual, Sarah will force/convince/trick John to hide out in a safe house. And, Cameron and Derek will have a harder time than normal working together after she lets loose with a major secret. Can’t wait to find out what that is.
A notable guest star on the installment is …read more

Terminator: ‘Today Is the Day, Part 1’ in Photos

The March 13th episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles is the first part of the two-installment extravaganza “Today Is the Day.” Currently, the second half is scheduled to air the following Friday, on March 20.
It looks like Sarah and John will finally outgrow their latest digs and decide to pick up roots again and head out to find a new safe place. Meanwhile, Jesse reminisces about a life-altering mission that happened when she was on a submarine called the Jimmy Carter. Did I miss something, or was everybody else already aware they have underwater boats during the …read more

Catherine Weaver’s cute little not-for-real daughter Savannah (adorable actress Mackenzie Smith) returns on the March 6 episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles called “Ourselves Alone.”
On a much worse note, however, so does Cameron’s really freaky and totally unpredictable electrical glitch. Good times, no?
The official description states in customary cryptic fashion: “The return of Cameron’s glitch results in regrettable consequences for everyone, and Riley fears Cameron has discovered her secret.”
Since I, for one, can’t stand Riley or Jesse, I hope the last is true and that that glitch equals big-time payback, killer cyborg style. Here’s wishing…
We’ve got a ways …read more

Terminator: ‘Some Must Watch While Some Must Sleep’ in Photos

Is “Some Must Watch While Some Must Sleep,” the title of the February 20th episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, long or what? But, as the photos after the jump clearly demonstrate, the plot is going to be equally intense.
Haunted by nightmares of the man she killed in the factory, Sarah checks in to a sleep clinic (looks more like an experimental facility to me, though). When suspicious things begin happening (see my previous comment), Sarah suspects Skynet may be using the clinic for brain-mapping (and as a secret experimental facility). I wouldn’t be surprised in the …read more

Terminator: ‘Desert Cantos’ in Photos

The February 20th episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles is getting kind of morbid, even for Team Sarah.
As the preview photos after the jump show, during “Desert Cantos,” the Connors et al work a funeral for clues to the latest catastrophe they must combat, a destroyed factory in a town. While they’re busy with that, Catherine Weaver also tries to get in on the action by sending her own investigator to find a survivor.
It’s just like a Gilmore Girls reunion on this one since the episode features Max Perlich (Charmed), Adam Wylie (Picket Fences), and Jim Jansen (Boston Legal), …read more

Terminator: ‘The Good Wound’ in Photos – Kyle Reese Alert

Finally we get to spend a little quality time with the mysterious Kyle Reese when Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles returns to Fox on Friday, February 13, a new day for the series.
The first episode of 2009 is called “The Good Wound,” and this is the one where John Connor’s father Kyle Reese gets some substantial screen time at last … although he might just be one of Sarah’s hallucinations.
The main plot of the episode concerns Sarah, who is shot in the leg and then forces a doctor named Felicia Burnett (Laura Regan, Mad Men) to treat her injury. …read more

With a promising tagline like “The Freaks Come Out at Night,” it’s clear in advance that the December 1 episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles is going to contribute a whole lot to the show’s spooky factor.
In case you’ve been wondering — and what fan hasn’t been since learning the truth about Cameron? — viewers finally find out what John’s pretend sister does at night on “Self Made Man,” since we all know whe never sleeps. And the equally interesting subplot adds even more intrigue when a machine is sent back in time to the wrong point, which has …read more

Next up on Fox’s The Sarah Connor Chronicles is the eerie November 17 episode “Complications.”
While Sarah copes with nightmares that grow increasingly disturbing and life-like, Derek and Jesse (Stephanie Jacobsen) pursue a potential Skynet conspirator.
In addition to Jacobsen, the always excellent Dorian Harewood reprises his guest star role as wise psychiatrist Dr. Sherman, and equally excellent West Wing veteran Richard Schiff appears as the older incarnation of the character Fischer.
Get an advance peek at the episode in the preview photos after the jump. It sure doesn’t look like Schiff’s character is having a good time with Derek and Jesse.

The November 10 episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles has the intriguing title “Mr. Ferguson Is Ill Today.”
After John and Riley take an impulsive trip to Mexico, danger inevitably ensues. Sarah and James Ellison also have a little face time with each other.
Preview photos follow the jump.
