Saving Grace: ‘What Would You Do?’ Preview
A special treat long in the making finally happens tonight, July 7, for fans of TNT’s Saving Grace. I’m talking about the brand-new episode “What Would You Do?,” which was originally scheduled to air near the end of the second season.
So, what makes this episode so noteworthy? That would be guest star and film actor F. Murray Abraham (Amadeus, Thir13en Ghosts), who plays the pivotal role of Earl’s fellow angel Matthew.
More details are after the jump…

Saving Grace: ‘I Believe in Angels’ Finale Preview
And the second-season finale of TNT’s Saving Grace is here.
During the April 13th episode “I Believe in Angels,” OCPD’s finest investigate a murder committed by an elderly woman, as Leon Cooley’s execution date rolls around at last and Grace remains conflicted about whether or not to help prevent his death.
The detective also encounters another woman who might be on angel Earl’s visitation list, and Ham gets his hopes up about the direction of his relationship with Grace after his divorce is finalized.

Saving Grace: ‘So What’s the Purpose of a Platypus?’ in Photos
“So What’s the Purpose of a Platypus?,” the April 6th episode of Saving Grace, delivers a good-sized wallop, both literally and figuratively.
During the hour, a vicious attack on Maggie (special guest star Kathy Baker) at Louie’s interrupts her plans to marry Grace’s brother-in-law Doug (Chris Mulkey). Meanwhile, Johnny and Rhetta’s letter-writing campaign to save Leon Cooley’s life hits a snag of its own when a damaging video surfaces.
The sneak peek for the episode is available in the earlier preview post, and follow the jump for a slew of stills that reveal quite a bit about the latest developments in …read more

Saving Grace: ‘So What’s the Purpose of a Platypus?’ Preview
The Monday, April 6, episode of Saving Grace is called “So What’s the Purpose of a Platypus?,” and there will be just two episodes left in the second season after it airs.
Two central plotlines unfold as we head toward the season finale, currently scheduled for April 20. Special guest star Kathy Baker (Picket Fences) returns as Doug’s love interest Maggie, a bartender at Louie’s. Unfortunately, their plans to get hitched are stalled when a stranger attacks Maggie at the bar, leaving her bloody (see preview photos to come) and understandably shaken.
The second plot involves death-row inmate Leon Cooley. …read more
Saving Grace: ‘But There’s Clay’ in Photos
Preview photos for “But There’s Clay,” tonight’s brand-new episode of Saving Grace, are here.
The hour features marvelous guest star Kathy Baker, whom I’ve adored since her Picket Fences days back in the 1990s. Saying that I’m looking forward to her performance on the series is definitely an understatement. Baker will return this season to reprise her role; yet, I wouldn’t mind her hanging around as a recurring or even regular player.
But enough about what I want. Check out a sneak peek for the episode in the earlier preview post and follow the jump for those stills.

Saving Grace: ‘But There’s Clay’ Preview
It’s good to have Bobby back on Saving Grace following his recent undercover gig, and the sneak peek for the March 30 episode “But There’s Clay” drives that home with a nice look at him and his regular partner Butch doing their thing together in the interrogation room.
Part of the episode’s plot revolves around Grace’s brother-in-law Doug and his developing relationship with Maggie, a new bartender at Louie’s who’s played by one of my favorite actresses ever, Picket Fences veteran Kathy Baker. Excellent casting.
Concerned aunt that she is, when Grace isn’t busy helping investigate the latest OCPD case involving …read more
Saving Grace: ‘The Live Ones’ Preview
Sadly to say — at least for those of us who thoroughly enjoyed Christina Ricci’s recent guest stint as Grace’s temporary partner Abby Charles — it’s back to Dewey and Darko on the next episode of Saving Grace, March 23rd’s “The Live Ones.”
Butch’s partner Bobby also reaches the end of his undercover assignment, although there’s no way to predict whether that’s a good or bad thing, and Clay’s new friend Benjamin Cooley, played by terrific 16-year-old Lost actor Malcolm David Kelley, helps out at the police department, too.
As for the case of the week, it involves a dead woman found …read more
