Lipstick Jungle: The End of the Road

I’ve triple checked the last few days’ news from my usual television sources to no avail. So, in the absence of a last-minute reprieve, it appears we Lipstick Jungle fans have reached the end of the two-season road for the show.
Next (and apparently last) up is tonight’s finale “Chapter Twenty: La Vie En Pose,” which, judging from the plot description, doesn’t have anything final about it whatsoever. Does this mean fans will be left hanging with no closure for their favorite character(s)? Could be.

Rosie Perez at ‘Pineapple Express’ Screening

Lipstick Jungle’s Robert Buckley wasn’t the only cast member at the New York City screening for Seth Rogen’s new comedy Pineapple Express on Tuesday. Jungle newcomer Rosie Perez was also in attendance, probably because (A) she’s a proud native New Yorker and (B) she’s one of the stars of the movie.
Rosie, a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nominee for the 1993 film Fearless, will play the new publicist for Lindsay Price’s character Victory Ford when NBC’s dramedy returns this fall. ‘Lipstick Jungle’ Adds Two More

Following recent news of Mary Tyler Moore’s casting, E! TV-gossip queen Kristin Dos Santos now reports that the NBC dramedy Lipstick Jungle is adding two more cast members for the show’s sophomore season, as well: Oscar-nominated Brooklyn native Rosie Perez and music chart-topper Carlos Ponce, both of whom will appear in multi-episode story arcs.
According to Kristin, who has it according to Lipstick showrunner Oliver Goldstick, Perez will play the new publicist for Lindsay Price’s Victory Ford, a character named Dalia inspired by none other than Ugly Betty executive producer Salma Hayek and her “can-do approach to everything.”
