Next on ‘Private Practice’: What You Do For Love

That’s the sound of Private Practice’s second season rushing by. After tonight’s brand-new episode “What You Do For Love,” the first fresh hour since March 26, there will be just one installment left — next Thursday’s season finale “Yours, Mine & Ours.”
Coming up at 10:01pm-ish ET today, Addison runs into Noah when she takes an endangered pregnant patient with heart problems to St. Ambrose, Sam begins having second thoughts about his friendship with Naomi when he notices she often disappears from work without explanation, and Violet’s visibly pregnant state makes Pete and Lisa’s relationship more difficult.

Private Practice: ‘Finishing’ Preview

Tonight is a big night for Swingtown cast members. Not only is Michael Rady appearing on the new episode of Grey’s Anatomy called “I Will Follow You into the Dark,” but his former costar Josh Hopkins is guest starring on the following fresh episode of Private Practice called “Finishing.”
I’m also psyched to see Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s Amber Benson on the guest list since her Buffyverse character Tara Maclay has always been a favorite of mine. Sharon Leal (Boston Public) returns as Sonya, too, and another notable visitor is What About Brian’s Amanda Detmer as Morgan Gellman.

Lucky fans will get to see yet more of guest star Grant Show (Melrose Place, Swingtown) playing Archer Montgomery during tonight’s brand-new Private Practice episode “Wait and See.”
Other spectacular guest stars are Boston Public and Soul Men’s Sharon Leal as Sonya, Heroes and Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum Leonard Roberts as Ryan, Leonard’s fellow former Buffy cast member Emma Caulfield as Leanne (I miss Anya!), ER and Joan of Arcadia veteran Erik Palladino as Mitch, and current Two and Half Men star Marin Hinkle as Beverly.

Private Practice: ‘Acceptance’ Preview

Former Melrose Place and Swingtown star Grant Show returns as Addison’s brother Archer on tonight’s new episode of Private Practice called “Acceptance,” and he’s not going to have an easy time of it.
When Archer suffers a severe seizure, Addison and his girlfriend Naomi aggressively search for the cause and cure, even calling Addison’s ex-husband Derek for counsel. Meanwhile, Violet tells Sheldon and Pete that she is pregnant, and a seven year-old patient is abandoned, left for Cooper to care for.

Private Practice: ‘Second Chances’ Preview

There’s no new Ugly Betty or Grey’s Anatomy tonight (the repeats “Betty Suarez Land” and “Rise Up,” respectively, are scheduled instead), but fans will get a fresh episode of Private Practice at 10:01pm EST called “Second Chances.”
It’s all about sibling rivalry, literally, during this installment when Addison’s brother Archer arrives in Los Angeles to start working at Oceanside Wellness’ rival clinic Pacific Wellcare. This creates a whole bunch of problems, of course, while pregnant Violet deals with the discovery that neither Pete nor Sheldon wants kids.
