After last week’s drama-filled “Model Behavior,” 90210 has almost succeeded in getting me to stop making fun of the show and instead just enjoy the ride. This week’s “Hollywood Forever” helps a lot in that area because it has a couple of great developments that make for really good TV.

It’s common knowledge among serious TV watchers that you should try not to judge an entire series based only on a pilot or premiere episode, especially if the first installment doesn’t impress. Well, that wasn’t so bad. It wasn’t so good either, but at least I’m not blind or deaf after catching the series premiere of 90210, which The CW unwisely chose to air in the form of a too-long, two-hour, double-episode block.
Aside from sparing me a couple of my senses, the network’s latest youth-oriented series accomplished something else. The first season of The CW’s Beverly Hills, 90210 spinoff 90210 begins tomorrow night. I’ve already posted a series of interviews highlighting the young women who star on the show. Now it’s time for the young guys.

‘90210’ Pilot Photo Preview

The CW’s highly anticipated Beverly Hills, 90210 spinoff 90210 premieres on Tuesday, September 2, at 8pm EST with a two-hour block of back-to-back episodes.
You don’t have to wait all the way until then to see the cast in action, though, since I have a bunch of photos from the debut installments following the jump. So far, everything is looking pretty good.

Photo Gallery: Meet the Cast of ‘90210’

The CW’s upcoming fall drama 90210, a spinoff of the long-running and wildly popular Fox series Beverly Hills, 90210, follows the Wilson family. Recently transplanted from Kansas, the Wilsons arrive in California to watch over Harry’s mother Tabitha (Jessica Walter), a former TV star unable to stay out of trouble in her golden years.
An even bigger adjustment for the Wilson teenagers is the foreign, posh lifestyle that surrounds them in their new neighborhood and especially their school, West Beverly Hills High.
