2009-2010 Renewals: Law & Order: SVU, Fringe

NBC and Fox made lots of fans very happy today by confirming what was already generally expected: both the cop drama Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and the paranormal/sci-fi FBI thriller Fringe will return to the tube for the 2009–2010 season. The renewals mark the impressive 11th go-round for the first veteran series and the sophomore run for the newcomer.
Although NBC is playing a bit of hardball at the moment with SVU stars Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni, the network had better hope both original cast members return. The issue in dispute is money, of course, in …read more

Goodness — could Mariska Hargitay be any more gorgeous?! There really is something about the actress, and it goes far beyond her physical attributes, too.
Recently, photographers caught up with the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit dynamo as she and co-star Christopher Meloni filmed scenes for their hit series. The pair were both hard at work in New York City’s Central Park, a familiar location setting for the Big Apple-based series.

Dear readers, we are only hours away from the beginning of the tenth season of every Grrl TV lover’s favorite Law & Order series, Special Victims Unit, of course.
Fans already know what the premiere episode “Trials” is all about, so let’s take a look at a video clip that gives a wider overview of what’s in store this season, including the arrival of the new Assistant District Attorney, Kim Greylek, played by Michaela McManus, formerly of One Tree Hill (and what a big step up in her career this is, I must add).

I think NBC may have overdone it when it comes to the tenth-season premiere of its most-watched member of the Law & Order franchise, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Now that the fall season is quickly approaching, television stars are out in force all over places like New York and California to film episodes that will air soon.
Photographers snapped the photos following the jump of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit star Mariska Hargitay (Detective Olivia Benson) shooting on location in New York City’s Meatpacking District. Lucky us, we also get to see guest star Julie Bowen, currently of Showtime’s Weeds, appearing in a couple of shots alongside Mariska.
