And the 2008 Actress Emmy Winners Are…

Let’s get right to the list of lucky ladies who took home shiny statuettes at the end of Sunday’s 60th Primetime Emmys ceremony. I think the actresses selected represent a nice, talented crop, so not many complaints from me beyond the usual annual grumbling about the thespians who were undeservedly overlooked all together.

Native New Yorker Cynthia Nixon was the fourth and final star from Sex and the City: The Movie to stop by Live with Regis and Kelly. Her appearance was on the Friday the movie opened, so by that time, the grand premiere to-do was over, prompting Kelly Ripa to ask how the actresses managed to look so beautiful during the event after getting dressed around their children.

And what a lovely shade of pink it was, too! Not that pastel hue that shows every speck of dirt, and not a bold fuchsia capable of inducing headaches. The lovely ladies who star in the hotly anticipated film version of the beloved HBO comedy series Sex and the City — Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Jennifer Hudson, Cynthia Nixon, and Sarah Jessica Parker — strolled a carpet shaded a gorgeous, intense, and posh pink, befitting the gorgeous, intense, and posh actresses themselves.
