If you came to the party late, Grrl TV and many other blogs in the b5media Entertainment Channel participated in a Blog Off last Friday, June 20, to benefit The Actors Fund. Our goal at each participating blog was to publish one post per hour over the 24 hours of June 20, and that’s exactly what I did.

Guest co-host Pat Sajak was back for another day, and he, Nixon, and Ripa also discussed the actress’ ability to lead a normal life in New York, her brush with breast cancer, the SATC cutting room floor, and her future awards plans now that she has both an Emmy and a Tony. Nixon answered every question she was asked, but it’s clear preventing breast cancer through early detection with mammograms is a very personal cause for her.

Of course, she also brought along another clip from the movie, and it was played following her description of where Miranda is in life four years later. Take a look in the videos below.

The actress talks about how proud she is of what she does and how much she adores her husband, fellow actor Matthew Broderick. Of course all of the talk about spouses soon segues into tales of her experiences as a mother to her real child and her other baby, the movie.

The discussion started with Davis talking about the difference between watching a movie you’re in beforehand and then with an audience, as well as the rumors about the SATC cast and crew filming fake scenes to throw off gossip and spoiler talk. Apparently, the second was true, and at some points, they couldn’t keep track of what work was fake and what wasn’t. Poor guys!

Looking lovely as always and nowhere near her 51 years of age, the actress talked in-depth about her role as Samantha, her 29-year-old private chef boyfriend, being single, what she planned to wear to the big hometown premiere in New York City, and much more. Who can forget the eighth week of competition on the third season of So You Think You Can Dance, when eventual champion Sabra Johnson and her extremely talented partner Neil Haskell performed Mandy Moore’s Jazz routine to the tune of the Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)”?

The routine has since come to be called The Table Dance, and despite the unimaginative name, once you see the cool, calm, and thoroughly mind-blowing number as danced by Sabra and Neil, it’s hard to forget it.

TV Guide and Michael Aussielo report Tupper is onboard for about three episodes thus far. Moreover, the actor plays a character named Owen, a philanthropist who can’t help but capture Sam’s attention with all that charm and money.

Is this good casting? Well, it will definitely bring in viewers who are still swooning over Tupper from his Trees days, for whatever that’s worth.

But we know who she is, we think she’s very pretty, and we’re slightly interested when we learn that an entire country has banned her, like the United Kingdom reportedly did somewhere around the present time when it refused to grant her a visa to step foot on its turf.

Why, you ask? Well, in case you hadn’t heard, dear Martha is a convicted crook and has been for a while now.

It’s really too bad, too, because if ever there was an American perfect for the allegedly prim and proper residents of Britain, Martha is her.

I think the business guru will manage to find her way in eventually, though; she’s a very enterprising gal.

The second clip is a typical trailer providing short glimpses into several situations viewers will encounter when the episode airs. Although I’m happy about the involvement of some of the younger characters, as noted in the spoiler post for this episode, the trailer clearly shows the episode will still largely remain concerned with mature subject matter. In other words, it will bring more of the quality drama fans have come to expect.

Get an advance peek at what’s in store in the following trailer for the episode. The footage demonstrates the installment has lots of action, not to mention a lot of antagonistic interaction between U.S. Marshal Mary and Foley’s character Horst Vanderhoff. I’m anticipating nothing but good times.
