Last night, NBC aired the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards, sponsored by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. At the end of the celebrity-filled celebration, it turned out to be a great occasion for women named Kate Winslet and Laura.
Winslet scored two awards for Best Film Actress in a Drama and Best Film Supporting Actress — for Revolutionary Road and The Reader, respectively — while Laura Linney and Laura Dern topped the nominees in the television categories Best Drama Mini-Series or Movie Actress and Best Mini-Series or Movie Supporting Actress, respectively.

NBC announced the news today: Ugly Betty executive producer and occasional guest star Salma Hayek is heading to Tina Fey’s 30 Rock for a multi-episode arc. She’ll play Elisa, the latest love interest of the sitcom’s resident bossman, Alec Baldwin’s Jack Donaghy, some time after the Emmy-winning series launches its third season on October 30.
