Secret Diary of a Call Girl: Episode 8 Previews (8-4-08)
There’s an American in London on “Episode 8” of Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and he tries to help hooker Belle (I pronounce “hooker Belle” with the same stress pattern as “Tinkerbell,” which makes it roll right off the tongue) increase her income potential now that the fallout from the Internet catastrophe during “Episode 6″ has finally subsided.
Mr. American is a film producer named Mitchell, and he convinces hooker Belle she should try to get accepted into a group of international prostitutes who are paid heaps of money for servicing filthy rich johns.
Hooker Belle makes the cut, too, after much effort on her part. Unfortunately, she quickly learns that those with heaps of money to spend on whores also have heaps of demands, and devoting heaps of time and energy to meeting those demands conflicts with the independent, self-empowered image she has of herself and her life.
So, how long will hooker Belle last as an elite courtesan? I’m guessing not long at all.
