‘Privileged’ Gets More Episodes
It’s not a full season of 22, but still The CW has ordered five additional episodes of the freshman dramedy Privileged. The new installments will give the entertaining Joanna Garcia show a total of 18 episodes, which is something to be happy about if you’re a fan.
And there’s more. In addition to the series extension, The CW also has a little potential programming magic up its sleeve that involves the December 1 and December 8 plan to premiere the eleventh and twelfth episodes of Privileged on Monday nights at 9pm EST, after the proven hit Gossip Girl. Before the rescheduling, repeats of One Tree Hill were slated to air.
The different time slot will give newcomers a chance to sample the show’s charm, and the encore broadcasts the next night in the series’ regular Tuesday, 9pm time slot will allow longtime fans to keep watching without disruption.
It’s nice to see a show getting a fair chance at building an audience for once instead of the too-familiar hasty ax, isn’t it?
