Oscar Winner Marcia Gay Harden Heads to ‘Damages’
The latest big-name star to join the cast of FX’s gripping legal drama Damages is Marcia Gay Harden, an Academy Award winner just like William Hurt, who was added to the second-season cast back in June.
Harden will play a powerful corporate attorney who will oppose Glenn Close’s Patty Hewes in the courtroom and presumably outside it, as well, since we all know lawyers like these gals never rest or quit.
In other casting news, the network has confirmed that Season One co-star Ted Danson will also return for a number of episodes yet to be determined. I think it’s pretty clear that Damages is one of the best-cast series on the tube. Hopefully, next time around the ratings will match the show’s obvious high caliber.
