Military Advisors Help ‘Army Wives’ Get It Right

Lifetime recently posted an interesting behind-the-scenes style Army Wives video at the network’s YouTube channel. It’s called Army Advisors on the Set, which pretty much explains what the footage concerns: how assorted real-life military members contribute to help make what we see on Army Wives as authentic and accurate as possible.
Take a look after the jump to learn quite a few things about the show you most likely don’t already know, including why the character Joan Burton, played by Wendy Davis, is wearing her hair so differently during the second season. Incidentally, I happen to like the new sleeker look on her a lot.
Army Wives airs Sundays on Lifetime at 10pm EST.
