‘Lipstick Jungle’s Paul Blackthorne Can’t Barack the Vote
Lipstick Jungle star Paul Blackthorne (Shane Healy) can’t Barack the Vote later this year since he’s English, but that little complication doesn’t stop him from riding his bike around New York City while proudly wearing a Barack Obama T-Shirt.
We at Grrl TV are ginormous fans of Paul, especially when he turns his English accent back on, so please enjoy the photos of him after the jump as much as we did. The candids were snapped recently while the actor was puttering about Manhattan. You can see in the second one where he looks directly at the photographer and realizes he’s being watched (there was another one nearby, too, at a different vantage point).
That must be so mind-bogglingly bizarre to have complete strangers interested in what you’re doing when you aren’t really doing much at all. I could never work as a paparazzo — the job is just too darn creepy. But that doesn’t mean I don’t sometimes enjoy the fruit of freelance photographers’ labor, like the pics of Paul and Obama’s likeness following the jump.
