Jamie Kennedy Joins ‘Ghost Whisperer’ in Premiere
Are you looking forward to Ghost Whisperer’s fourth-season premiere on Friday, October 3, at 8pm EST?
I know I am, although the show has never gotten spooky enough for me. Still, I keep watching and hoping the scares will eventually achieve the intensity they could and should. Think Supernatural for an idea of what I mean.
When the show resumes fresh episodes in a couple of months, the premiere “Firestarter” will feature a number of guest stars and one new series regular. Jay Mohr has left the show to star in his own CBS sitcom Gary Unmarried, and arriving to take up the slack is Jamie Kennedy of The Jamie Kennedy Experiment and many feature films.
The actor plays a psychology professor named Eli James, whom the Gordons encounter after Jim saves his life during a fire at Rockland University. As a result of Eli’s accompanying near-death experience, Melinda eventually learns he shares an important trait with her and her mother — the ability to see dead people.
Jay lovers, fear not. The popular regular cast member from last season will also drop by for the episode, along with other guest stars that include Alona Tal of Cane, Supernatural, and Veronica Mars.
