James Denton Will Be Back on ‘Desperate Housewives’
Remember that cliffhanger at the end of Desperate Housewives’ fourth season, a five-year flash forward featuring Susan with a new man who is clearly not her new husband Mike Delfino? Well, People reports that despite the stunning scene, James Denton, the actor who plays Mike, will definitely be returning to the series for its fifth season.
There’s a catch or two, though. First, it appears the flash forward wasn’t joking since Denton confirms Mike and Susan will no longer be a couple down the road.
Second, he has no idea yet what his new storyline will involve, which means we fans are just going to have to remain patient until more Mike news leaks or series creator Marc Cherry gives up more goods.
Rest assured, however, that if you’re one of the many fans who invested heaps of patience waiting for Susan and Mike to finally hook up, you’re not alone in your anger/irritation/devastation that their relationship apparently didn’t last. Somebody’s gonna have a whole lot of explaining to do next season…

What was Susan talking about when she and Mike were in lawyers office to sign divorce papers and she said everything was ok until the accident?

Susan, during the five years between last season and this season, Susan hit another car while she and Mike where heading somewhere. The other driver died, and Susan’s attitude towards the event rubbed Mike the wrong way, eventually leading to their divorce when he realized he couldn’t endure that side of her.
