Grrl TV Marathons This Labor Day Weekend
If you’re in the United States, then you probably know that Monday, September 1, is Labor Day.
As is customary, a number of networks have scheduled marathons of popular TV shows to keep couch potatoes very, very happy, especially fans of women-friendly shows. Here’s some of the good stuff hitting the tube this holiday weekend.
Saturday — August 30
Project Runway, Current Season, 3pm–8pm EST on Bravo
The Starter Wife, 9am–3pm EST on USA
Monday — September 1
Army Wives, Current Season, 12pm–9pm EST on Lifetime
Beverly Hills, 90210, 12am–12am (Tuesday, September 2) on SOAPnet
I Love Lucy, 8am–2pm EST on TV Land
The Closer, Seasons 2–4, 9am–10pm EST on TNT — Note that the new episode “Split Ends” premieres at the regular time of 9pm, followed by the series premiere of the legal drama Raising the Bar at 10pm
