Grant Show Swinging Over to ‘Private Practice’
Relax, Swingtown fans. According to Entertainment Weekly, series star Grant Show will be making a one-time — at least for now — guest appearance on the ABC Grey’s Anatomy spinoff Private Practice.
Grant’s episode will air sooner rather than later, and he’ll play yet another one of those attractive doctors who look and act nothing like any doctor I’ve ever encountered in real life.
Entertainment Weekly mysteriously adds that Show’s character has “ties to a Practice regular” (when does a name guest star ever not?).
In addition, the article scoops that regardless of whether or not Swingtown gets renewed — but it’s pretty much a given that a second season will only happen in a much rosier parallel universe — the show’s season finale has a cliffhanger that will wrap things up in a satisfying manner while leaving room for development if the mother of all miracles should happen.

Private Practice has so many amazing guest stars and returning guest starts (ahem, David Sutcliffe!). I wonder if they’re all connected to Addison?!?! If you haven’t seen this show, you have to catch up before season 2!!
