‘The View’s Sherri Shepherd Has a Lifetime Comedy
Following on the heels of last year’s 2008–2009 newbie Rita Rocks, Lifetime is adding another original half-hour sitcom to its women-centric lineup. The latest comedy stars The View co-host Sherri Shepherd, and it’s accurately called Sherri.
According to Variety, Shepherd will play a single mother who also happens to be an actress and a paralegal. Shepherd has quite a bit of experience in the second role since she has a recurring gig on NBC’s critically acclaimed sitcom 30 Rock, where she portrays the wife of Tracy Morgan’s character.
