The question, however, is will the actor, who plays Tommy Walker, actually hit the road following his adulterous fling with English actress Sienna Miller? Or has all the hype just been for promotional — hence ratings — purposes? If you really care, I guess the answer will be revealed soon enough. All you have to do is endure the suspense until this Sunday finally rolls around.

During the episode, the Walker family is devastated to learn that Tommy may not want to accept their help after they reach out to him. Meanwhile, Robert and Kitty hit a potentially insurmountable snag in their marriage; Justin plans his future, whether it includes Rebecca or not; and Saul reveals shocking information about Ryan Lafferty’s mother.

For viewers who like to keep it real, there are also new seasons coming up of America’s Funniest Home Videos, The Bachelor, Dancing with the Stars, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Supernanny, and Wife Swap.

Congrats to all of the lucky series. We’ll be hearing more about the fate of newcomers like Castle and The Unusuals, two shows I’m enjoying very much, as well as old-timers like Samantha Who? next month, during the May upfront season, or possibly before then.

In any case, it’s no surprise that five of the early ABC pickups went to shows of particular interest to Grrl TV readers. We just got it like that.

Next up on Desperate Housewives is “A Vision’s Just a Vision.” After last week’s revelation that Carlos might be able to regain his sight after surgery — and Gaby’s frantic yet ultimately futile rush to get glamorous again in a snap — it’s clear the title has at least a little to do with the Solis family.

Elsewhere, Porter finally has an appointment with the law after Dave, the real and increasingly more disturbing fire-starter, lies to the police that the teenager is the culprit; Bree learns about Andrew’s hookup with Orson’s doctor, something we’ve known since that phone call at the end of the previous episode; and Katherine, Mike, and Susan figure out how to get along now that the first two are officially an item.

Instead, the episode focuses on Kitty and her proposed tell-all memoir, which will include details on her family and which her mother and siblings are wholeheartedly against, of course. I say publish it and let the you-know-what hit the fan. The more you-know-what, the better (and more interesting) for us viewers.

Watch the impossibly large Walker clan gather around the longest dining room table ever to eat and snark at each other in the sneak peek following the jump. I think I’d last about two minutes around the bunch before running away while pulling my hair out in clumps.
