Well, at least nobody can complain that NBC isn’t trying to promote its latest slate of (primarily poor) pickups.
To enhance the earlier post outlining the network’s new Friends-wannabe comedy 100 Questions, follow the jump for video interviews with lead cast members Sophie Winkleman, who plays looking-for-love central character Charlotte Payne, and Christopher Moynihan, who portrays Charlotte’s best bud Mike.
Since Moynihan is the series creator, he provides some details about how he conceived the sitcom. My guess? He watched lots and lots of CBS’ The Ex List and, of course, Friends.

And to go along with the earlier post describing NBC’s new 2009–2010 nurse medical drama Mercy, here are three video interviews, one for each of the show’s three female lead characters: Taylor Schilling as no-nonsense Veronica Callahan, Jamie Lee Kirchner as (no doubt stereotypically “sassy”) Sonia Jimenez, and Michelle Trachtenberg as new nurse Chloe Payne.
I’m still undecided — about the show, not to mention the characters — but which woman looks like your favorite nurse so far?

When Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles creator Josh Friedman and star Summer Glau answered questions recently about the return of the series tonight and its pairing with Joss Whedon’s high-profile newbie Dollhouse, the two projected lots of optimism. (For those who didn’t know, Glau starred on Whedon’s much-loved 2002 Fox sci-fi series Firefly and in the corresponding 2005 movie Serenity).
The Friday-night scheduling, traditionally not a favorable time for a show to air on television, doesn’t seem to phase either one in the least, especially considering the good things in store for fans during the remainder of the sophomore season. …read more

When ABC Family’s hit drama The Secret Life of the American Teenager returns on January 5, central character Amy Juergens will still be 15, in high school, and very much pregnant. But, those are probably the only things in her already complicated life that will remain the same. As series star Shailene Woodley, who plays the teenager, revealed recently during an interview, numerous changes are on the way for the young mother-to-be.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles is about to go on hiatus for the holidays, but not until we fans get one last 2008 episode called “Earthlings Welcome Here.”
During the midseason finale, Sarah continues to focus on the three dots, which leads her to a blogger who knows a whole lot about them. So, while she’s busy with that venture and dealing with what where it leads her, including to an actual UFO convention (see the following photo), Riley’s presence remains a point of contention for Cameron, especially since the outsider is clearly growing ever closer to John.

The CW has uploaded another set of video interviews for Privileged, this time featuring the three women who play the lead roles of Megan Smith (Joanna Garcia), Rose Baker (Lucy Kate Hale), and Rose’s extremely non-identical twin Sage Baker (Ashley Newbrough).

When The Starter Wife begins tonight, there will be a new man around for Molly: Hart Bochner’s Zach McNeill. The series website describes the character as someone Molly will get the hots for when she joins the novelist’s writing class. Well, a woman could definitely do worse.

Versatile actor David Alan Basche definitely isn’t wanting for work these days. Currently familiar to fans as Nico’s persistent rival Mike Harness on the NBC dramedy Lipstick Jungle, Basche will do double duty on another dramedy beginning this Friday at 9pm EST. That’s when USA Network will premiere the series version of last year’s Emmy-winning miniseries The Starter Wife, which stars Will & Grace veteran Debra Messing.
