Brenda Strong to Guest Star on ‘Boston Legal’
Statuesque Desperate Housewives star Brenda Strong, who plays Mary Alice Young, the Wisteria Lane resident we rarely see but hear all the time during the show’s voice-over narration, is heading to Boston Legal to play a judge on an episode from the upcoming season.
TV Guide online reports the actress is filming her appearance on the ABC legal dramedy this week, and her character is said to be “sexy” and “tough” as she oversees a big case that includes counsel from Crane, Poole & Schmidt.
The part that gets me, however, is the statement that Alice’s character will deliver “her ruling in the form of a sing-song homily.” Now I feel like Temperance Brennan on Bones because I don’t know what that means. Ideas anyone?
