Army Wives: ‘Mothers and Wives’ Preview (8-17-08)
There’s a new episode of Army Wives on August 17 with the well-chosen title “Mothers and Wives.” And as reported last month, there’s a big guest star to go along with it, namely Academy Award nominee Marsha Mason.
Mason plays the mother of Claudia Joy, who immediately becomes suspicious when one of her parents shows up out of the blue. But she won’t learn exactly what’s going on until her father Randall (Len Cariou of Brotherhood) drops by, as well, on the next episode called “Great Expectations.”
Denise will also experience friction between herself and her husband when Frank gets curious about her relationship with Getti. And elsewhere, Roland begins counseling a male teenager whose father died recently in Iraq, while Roxy suffers from a big case of pre-GED test anxiety.
