Army Wives: ‘Loyalties’ Preview (7-27-08)
The July 27 episode of Army Wives is called “Loyalties,” and it’s not going to be kind to many of our favorite military spouses. As a result, I think the title refers to the support system the affected characters are going to find themselves needing … and receiving.
The specific trouble on the horizon includes a suspicion that Roland is conducting himself inappropriately with one of the students he counsels, the arrest of Chase and some of his Delta Force colleagues, and the hiring of a new waitress named Sandi (played by Ugly Betty star Ana Ortiz) at Betty’s Bar & Grill.
When the news of Ortiz’s guest-star appearance was first reported last month, we learned her character will eventually cause a legal hassle for Roxy, and I can’t wait to find out exactly how and why.
A sneak peek follows the jump. It features Denise and Roland — whose close friendship I enjoy the most, even if it doesn’t get much attention — having a chat. Lifetime labeled the clip as a scene from the ninth episode, which doesn’t air until August 3. Yet, since there’s no preview for the July 27 episode, I assume an error was made.
Army Wives airs Sundays on Lifetime at 10pm EST.
