My Boys: ‘Welcome Back, Kalla Fötter’ in Photos

The time has finally arrived for “Welcome Back, Kalla Fötter,” tonight’s Season Three premiere of the TBS sitcom My Boys. And great news for Twilight fangirls — Billy Burke returns as PJ’s former/current romantic interest, Jack.
Funny thing — I just watched Twilight for the first time this past weekend (nice, entertaining movie, by the way — loved it), and I kept peering at Bella’s dad and thinking, “I know I’ve seen this guy in lots of stuff, but where did I see him last? C’mon! C’mon! Where?” And then it hit me.
Most recently, Burke portrayed the …read more

Saving Grace: ‘But There’s Clay’ in Photos

Preview photos for “But There’s Clay,” tonight’s brand-new episode of Saving Grace, are here.
The hour features marvelous guest star Kathy Baker, whom I’ve adored since her Picket Fences days back in the 1990s. Saying that I’m looking forward to her performance on the series is definitely an understatement. Baker will return this season to reprise her role; yet, I wouldn’t mind her hanging around as a recurring or even regular player.
But enough about what I want. Check out a sneak peek for the episode in the earlier preview post and follow the jump for those stills.

Ratings Report: ‘Terminator’ and ‘Dollhouse’ Tie It Up

Ratings Report: ‘Terminator’ and ‘Dollhouse’ Tie It Up

Now this is getting fairly interesting. There was still no new episode of CBS’ Ghost Whisperer last Friday, March 27, which only served to make the performance of Fox’s The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Dollhouse all the more noticeable. Not only did my favorite series of the pair — Terminator, of course — experience a slight improvement in total viewers, but the Joss Whedon show had a downturn that put it in a virtual tie with the older show.
Do I sound snide if I say I don’t mind that outcome one bit? I hope not — I …read more

Saving Grace: ‘But There’s Clay’ Preview

It’s good to have Bobby back on Saving Grace following his recent undercover gig, and the sneak peek for the March 30 episode “But There’s Clay” drives that home with a nice look at him and his regular partner Butch doing their thing together in the interrogation room.
Part of the episode’s plot revolves around Grace’s brother-in-law Doug and his developing relationship with Maggie, a new bartender at Louie’s who’s played by one of my favorite actresses ever, Picket Fences veteran Kathy Baker. Excellent casting.
Concerned aunt that she is, when Grace isn’t busy helping investigate the latest OCPD case involving …read more

Fringe: ‘Inner Child’ in Photos

Take a deep breath because we’re almost there, Fringe fans. The FBI spook-drama returns on Tuesday, April 7, at 9:01pm ET at last, and that’s less than two weeks away.
The first fresh episode after the almost two-month break is called “Inner Child,” and it features Spencer List as the title character. He just happens to be the twin brother of Peyton List, who starred as Frances O’Connor’s onscreen daughter Sasha in last year’s short-lived ABC Sex and the City knockoff Cahsmere Mafia. And the acting connections just keep on coming.
During “Inner Child,” Spencer’s character, a mute young …read more

‘In the Motherhood’ and ‘Samantha Who?’ Team Up

‘In the Motherhood’ and ‘Samantha Who?’ Team Up

Tonight at 8pm EST, ABC will introduce the TV-watching world to its latest sitcom, In the Motherhood, which stars Will & Grace’s Megan Mullally, Curb Your Enthusiasm’s Cheryl Hines, and Worst Week’s Jessica St. Clair.
The actresses play Rosemary, Jane, and Emily, three parents who are supposed to represent familiar mother-figure stereotypes. Based on the Web series of the same name that starred Leah Remini (The King of Queens), Jenny McCarthy (Two and a Half Men), and Chelsea Handler (Chelsea Lately), the show should have a respectable built-in audience. First up is the premiere episode “It Takes a Village …read more

Private Practice: ‘Do the Right Thing’ Preview

There are no major new guest stars on this week’s fresh episode of Private Practice, March 26th’s “Do the Right Thing,” but Swingtown alum Josh Hopkins does reprise his role as Dr. Noah Barnes, the latest pursuer of Addison.
It seems like this installment is all about getting it on with patients’ mothers or mothers who let patients get it on. : ) While Cooper takes on the (criminally stupid and possibly insane) mother of a 12-year-old female patient who is okey dokey with her daughter having sex at that way too young age, Pete arouses (no pun intended) Violet’s …read more

Grey’s Anatomy: ‘Elevator Love Letter’ Preview

Grey’s Anatomy: ‘Elevator Love Letter’ Preview

Pull out your hankies, Izzie fans, and maybe grab a bowl of bonbons or some other tasty, soothing treat because “Elevator Love Letter,” the March 26 episode of Grey’s Anatomy coming up this Thursday, is guaranteed to be a tearjerker.
As Derek endures the intense spotlight now that he’s about to perform his first surgery since his recent “professional crisis,” an even brighter and hotter strobe light glares down on Izzie, who’s bed-ridden and set to undergo a complicated operation.
Elsewhere, Owen suffers another post traumatic stress incident that has an impact so great that Cristina is hurt, not to mention his …read more

Dollhouse: ‘Spy in the House of Love’ in Photos

I like the title of the April 10 episode of Dollhouse — “Spy in the House of Love” — which features, of all things, a Dexter reunion.
That would be between recurring Dollhouse actress Liza Lapira (NCIS, Huff), who plays Ivy now and was Yuki Amado on the Showtime series, and guest star Valerie Cruz (Hidden Palms, Nip/Tuck), whom fans know as Dexter’s Sylvia Prado, but whom I love for her starring gig as Lieutenant Connie Murphy on the Sci Fi Channel’s aborted wizard drama The Dresden Files. Miss that one.
During “Spy in the House of Love,” the Dollhouse residents …read more

Dollhouse: ‘Needs’ in Photos

The April 3 episode of Fox’s Dollhouse is called “Needs.” And, with a teaser that states “Echo leads the Actives in an escape from the Dollhouse while Ballard deals with shocking information,” I’m definitely excited about what’s in store.
The plot revolves around Echo, Sierra, and Victor waking up one day to suddenly find that their personalities and memories are what they used to be before all of the dangerous mind-wiping and whatnot. Ever determined, Echo then takes it upon herself to get her “friends” and all of the other Actives the heck out of there.
Can you blame her? …read more
