Paley Festival 2009 Adds 90210, Desperate Housewives, Dollhouse, Swingtown

SwingtownBack in January, I wrote about Fox’s Fringe and HBO’s True Blood scoring coveted spots in the lineup of television series making an appearance at the Paley Center for Media’s popular annual Paley Festival.

Now comes news that the female-led shows will be joined by their fellow Grrl TV programs 90210, Desperate Housewives, Dollhouse, and Swingtown during PaleyFest 09. And, yes — I just wrote Swingtown, so how about a big “Woot!”

Additional shows scheduled to participate include the canceled ABC dramedy Pushing Daisies, the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory and hit rookie crime procedural The Mentalist, the FX sitcom It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the HBO drama Big Love, the MTV reality series The Hills, the Sci Fi Channel dramas Battlestar Galactica and Caprica, and Joss Whedon’s Web musical Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.

If you plan to attend the event — which will take place from April 10th to April 24th in Hollywood, California — you can purchase tickets and get the full details of what’s on the schedule at the official website. Meanwhile, a summary of the presentations for the shows covered at Grrl TV follows:
