No New ‘Ghost Whisperer’ Tonight – See J. Love Skate Instead
Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ghost Whisperer don’t return with fresh New Year’s episodes until January 9th’s “Life on the Line,” which features guest star Sharon Lawrence of NYPD Blue fame. But, you can catch a repeat of the recommended Season Three installment “Weight of What Was” in the show’s usual 8pm EST time slot tonight.
For those who don’t remember or haven’t seen it yet, “Weight” is the one where Gabriel (Ignacio Serricchio) returns, leading Melinda to discover — to her great and justified horror — that her hometown Grandview is situated on top of a spirit-filled underworld.
I also love this episode because it has guest star Amy Acker, one of my favorite actresses since her long-ago Angel days as Fred Burkle. Look for more of her in another Joss Whedon series, Dollhouse, when it debuts mid-February.
Following at 9pm tonight is another must-see Ghost Whisperer repeat from last season, “All Ghosts Lead to Grandview. Serricchio’s Gabriel is still onhand as Melinda helps a young girl who also has the gift of communicating with ghosts.
Incidentally, J. Love was spotted earlier this week near her California home as she got in a little roller-skate action with a friend and her pooch Mona. Or, judging from the first photo, maybe it was more like she was being pulled by her pooch Mona while wearing roller skates. Too cute!
