Catch Sherry Stringfield and a Terminator on ‘Law & Order’ and ‘Life’
First it was Battlestar Galactica’s Katee Sackhoff two weeks ago and then Kill Bill star Vivica Fox last week. Now, the original Law & Order is serving up more top-rate entertainment with this week’s “Zero” guest star Sherry Stringfield.
You remember her, right? She’s the actress who was a major player on not one, but two seminal television series: NBC’s ER, currently in its 15th and final season, and ABC’s still much-missed NYPD Blue, which pounded out addictive crime capers for a dozen seasons. Veteran actor Ned Beatty (Homicide: Life on the Street) is on hand, as well, for good measure.
“Zero” is about a murder victim married to a man obsessed with going and staying “green.” Stringfield plays Carly, the clerk who works under Beatty’s Judge Reynolds, and both become suspected of obstructing justice during the resulting trial.
As an extra bonus this week, viewers also get a bit of eye candy on Law & Order’s under-appreciated lead-in Life, which presents its midseason finale “Trapdoor.”
The episode features the return of The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ main T-888, better know as Cromartie actor Garret Dillahunt, who reprises his role from last season as cool, clever, and seemingly unstoppable Russian crook Roman Nevikov. Good times! (TRIVIA: Dillahunt is married to Season One Law & Order: Special Victims Unit regular cast member Michelle Hurd).
Check out the trailer for the episodes in the video below, and don’t forget to tune in to Life on NBC at 9pm EST and Law & Order at 10pm if you’re in need of some great TV.
