Terminator: ‘Self Made Man’ in Photos

With a promising tagline like “The Freaks Come Out at Night,” it’s clear in advance that the December 1 episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles is going to contribute a whole lot to the show’s spooky factor.
In case you’ve been wondering — and what fan hasn’t been since learning the truth about Cameron? — viewers finally find out what John’s pretend sister does at night on “Self Made Man,” since we all know whe never sleeps. And the equally interesting subplot adds even more intrigue when a machine is sent back in time to the wrong point, which has …read more

‘It’s a Wonderful Lie’ on ‘Gossip Girl’

The first December episode of Gossip Girl, cleverly called “It’s a Wonderful Lie” after the classic Jimmy Stewart film, is all about deceit (what else?) and snowflakes:
When time for the annual Snowflake Ball rolls around, Blair and Chuck compete to find perfect dates.
Meanwhile, Nate, Jenny, and Vanessa encounter a complicated predicament that could possibly destroy both their friendships and romantic relationships.
And, finally, Serena must keep her emotions in check when Dan becomes the object of Aaron’s ex-girlfriend Lexi’s (Natalie Knepp) desire.
The trailer for the episode follows the jump.

Weekly Double Dose of ‘Privileged’ Begins Monday

Weekly Double Dose of ‘Privileged’ Begins Monday

Not too long ago, I mentioned that The CW would be giving its rookie dramedy Privileged a little extra promotional love soon. Well, the time has finally arrived.
For two weeks, starting on Monday, December 1, new episodes of Privileged will premiere after Gossip Girl on Mondays at 9pm EST, and encores will follow the next night in the show’s regular Tuesday at 9pm time slot.
First up on Monday is “All About Love, Actually.” Laurel Limoges gets her game on when she re-hooks up with an old lover, played by Michael Nouri of Flashdance and The Hidden goodness. …read more

Desperate Housewives: ‘Me and My Town’ Preview

Desperate Housewives: ‘Me and My Town’ Preview

I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m really enjoying Neal McDonough’s stint as Edie’s duplicitous new husband Dave Williams on the current season of Desperate Housewives.
The minute the casting news spread, I knew McDonough was up to the challenge and would bring some dependable chills to the storylines. He hasn’t let me down once yet.
During this Sunday’s fresh episode “Me and My Town,” viewers will learn even more about Dave’s shady background (I hope) following the recent scary club fire that got him branded a hero (yeah, right!).
Other characters will have to cope with the aftermath of the …read more

Fringe: ‘The Dreamscape’ in Photos

Next on Fox’s Fringe — which is coming along quite nicely, although it’s nowhere near as good or intriguing as The X-Files — is tonight’s new episode “The Dreamscape.” Note that it starts at the special time of 9:08pm EST and ends at the awkward time of 10:07pm.
After a Massive Dynamic employee takes a flying leap out of a window because he believes butterflies are on the attack, Olivia decides it’s time for another trip to that tank, and you know which one I’m talking about if you watch the show.
Her reason is to finally get her allegedly dead …read more

Terminator: ‘Strange Things Happen at the One Two Point’ Preview

Terminator: ‘Strange Things Happen at the One Two Point’ Preview

What a title, huh?
Watching the latest video previews for “Strange Things Happen at the One Two Point,” the November 24 episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles, I can’t believe this show was once in danger of cancellation earlier in the season. How much more intriguing and action-packed does a TV series need to be?
On this outing, guest star Stephanie Jacobsen reprises her role as Jesse, who continues to complicate already difficult situations. Meanwhile, James Ellison meets someone important, courtesy of Catherine Weaver, and Sarah finally seems to makes a breakthrough when her fascination with the three dots leads …read more

‘Lipstick Jungle’ Moved Again

‘Lipstick Jungle’ Moved Again

If you’re one of the many viewers trying to show Lipstick Jungle some extra love now that the word is out its future is in danger at NBC, note that the network has relocated the show to a new time slot yet again.
Be happy, however, because on this occasion the change is a reward of sorts for the attention and increased ratings the series has earned following all of the recent interest in keeping it alive.
Effective the week after Thanksgiving, Lipstick will air its remaining four episodes an hour earlier on Fridays, at 9pm EST. The ultra boring historical-adventure …read more

Sarah Connor & Company Have Got Grrl Power!

Sarah Connor & Company Have Got Grrl Power!

It’s about time!
I’ve been wondering what Fox has been waiting for, and now the network has finally put together the video a show like The Sarah Connor Chronicles should have from the get-go.
Check out the superbad ladies of TV’s Terminator in the Girl Power! video after the jump. This one has been a long time coming, so nice job celebrating Sarah/Lena Headey, Cameron/Summer Glau, and newcomer Catherine Weaver/Shirley Manson.
Who loves ya, baby?

‘Lipstick Jungle’ Hottie Robert Buckley Unhinged

‘Lipstick Jungle’ Hottie Robert Buckley Unhinged

I have no idea when the video after the jump was filmed or by whom, but it sure is fun to watch!
The clip in question shows Lipstick Jungle fan favorite Robert Buckley essentially throwing a hissy fit at work on the show, apparently in the wardrobe area. I wonder if he’s always like that when he doesn’t think the camera is rolling.
In any case, don’t forget: Although Lipstick isn’t officially canceled, fans still must watch the series to show their support. Increased ratings are the biggest gift viewers can give the cast and crew right now.
The November 21 …read more

Ghost Whisperer: ‘Heart & Soul’ Preview

Ghost Whisperer: ‘Heart & Soul’ Preview

Enjoying the new direction of Ghost Whisperer with Dead Jim? Yeah — me neither, and it looks like the poor paramedic is going to stay all ghosty and everything, too.
On the upcoming episode of the series, “Heart & Soul” — also known as the third installment of the Dumb Dead Jim Era in my mind — Melinda will begin pursuing a relationship with the guy whose body Jim jumped into at the end of the last episode. But, remember, when he regained consciousness, Dead Dude/Jim didn’t know who Melinda was.
Well, it turns out he — though I’m not …read more
