‘Privileged’ Premiere Prep: Watch a Featurette
Although the CW has been working its promo machine to the bone to spread word about 90210, the new show on the network that I’m most looking forward to is Privileged. That series, originally called Surviving the Filthy Rich and based on How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls by Zoey Dean, starts tonight at 9pm EST.
The cast is led by Reba alum Joanna Garcia, who portrays Megan Smith, a Yale graduate fired from her tabloid journalism job only to immediately land a new, possibly better one working as the live-in tutor for Rose (Lucy Kate Hale) and Sage (Ashley Newbrough) Baker, the twin teenage granddaughters of wealthy cosmetics mogul Laurel Limoges.
All I need to know is that Laurel is played by acting veteran Anne Archer to become interested in this show. Debi Mazar (Entourage) guest starring in the premiere is just a very big bonus. Can’t wait to see if the series delivers.
