‘The Ex List’ Series Premiere: Photo Preview

Television watchers eager to get a taste of CBS’ new Friday-night dramedy The Ex List are going to have to wait until October 3. The series will premiere at 9pm EST then, immediately after the fourth-season premiere of Jennifer Love Hewitt’s hit paranormal drama Ghost Whisperer, making for a pretty fine evening of Grrl-friendly TV.
In fact, my recorder’s going to be working overtime that night because it will also feature the return of Tia Mowry’s The Game on The CW and the premiere of Sci Fi Channel’s new Amanda Tapping fantasy drama Sanctuary, which will open with a two-hour extravaganza. I’ll be discussing both shows regularly here.
As the debut of Elizabeth Reaser’s series slowly rolls around, I’ve got a nice selection of photos after the jump to ease the wait. All of the stills come from the pilot episode, and the last reveals the identity of a special guest star.
That’s Eric Balfour, who some might recognize from TV’s 24, Conviction, and Six Feet Under, in addition to a few movies like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. How much you wanna bet he’s the first guy main character Bella is going to revisit as she tries to track down the overlooked love of her life?
FYI: If you need more information about who plays who, check out the Ex List cast gallery for details and more photos.
