‘Lipstick Jungle’s Got the ‘Project Runway’ Look
Or at least it will soon.
If you didn’t know, Lipstick Jungle star Brooke Shields was the guest judge and client on the most recent episode of Bravo’s fashion-design show Project Runway. In honor of the occasion, the competitors were given the task of creating a day-to-night outfit for Brooke’s Lipstick character Wendy Healey.
After Brooke described Wendy as a powerful movie-studio executive who leads a somewhat bohemian lifestyle with her musician husband (sounds accurate to me), the designers worked in pairs on the former teen supermodel’s six chosen concepts. Brooke’s insider knowledge of the fashion biz got everything off to a great start because she really understood precisely what she wanted and communicated it well to the competitors.
Follow the jump to see the winning outfit, which I agree was the best creation overall. Victorious designer Keith Bryce will now get to see the design he constructed with teammate Kenley Collins featured on an episode from Lipstick Jungle’s second season. Nice prize!
