Swingtown: ‘Heatwave’ Spoilers (7-17-08)
The title of the July 17 episode of Swingtown, “Heatwave,” is perfect for where I’m at right now. I went outside yesterday evening at about 6pm, when you’d think it would be cooling down, and almost ran right back inside. I hate these sticky, icky days of summer.
Our favorite Chicago swingers will be thinking along the same lines when a record-setting spell of heat engulfs their Chicago neighborhood, encouraging them to either hit the Deckers’ pool or attempt to hook up with hot co-workers (the second would be Bruce specifically).
For reasons I do not and will never understand, CBS still isn’t releasing sneak peeks for individual episodes. Instead, the network is putting together these unnecessary trailer-type videos that were nice before the show started. We’re on the seventh episode now, though, so everybody who’s watching already knows what the show is about, and everybody who’s not watching probably never will.
In the absence of a genuine preview, take a look at the latest nonessential clip after the jump called Serial Swingers. You won’t learn anything new but you might appreciate the overview.
