Season Two Announced for ‘In Plain Sight’
USA Network just made the excellent announcement — the hit new crime dramedy In Plain Sight will return for a sixteen-episode sophomore run, thanks to fantastic ratings on just about every measure that advertisers and networks care about. Thus far, the show has averaged 5.22 million viewers overall each week, and the July 13 episode was the series’ most watched ever, attracting a 20 percent larger audience in the 18–49 demographic.
As a result of Mary McCormack & Company’s success, since the show’s June 1 premiere, USA has been ranked first among the cable networks in all three key demographics (adults aged 18–34, 18–49, and 25–54) during the show’s Sunday-night 10pm-11pm EST time slot. Such results are the stuff that network executives fantasize about in their wildest work-related dreams.
Season Two will have four more episodes than the current season’s twelve, and production is scheduled to begin in October for an as yet undetermined premiere date. Once again, the series will be shot and set in scenic and gorgeous Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Considering that In Plain Sight has been getting increasingly more enjoyable since its premiere, the renewal is nothing but great news to me.

I just love the serial. It’s the first time I se a Tv series charcter who is so alike me not visual but personal.I so love Mary.I’m from Bulgaria and just in 2 days I’ve seen 14 episodes. It’s so bad that there are just 4 left to be seen and I have to wait a week for a new episode.I can watch it all day long.
I just want to say it’s a great work and I hope to see many seasons not just 2.Pople love it I’m telling my friends and they start to watch it and they love it too.Keep on with the great work you do.
I loved Season 1, but have been disappointed with the language in Season 2. When you put God’s name in the swearing, I’m turning the channel. I’ve given you several chances, and I am offended by this.
