‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Is Not Killing Katherine Heigl
Or something like that.
It seems all of the ridiculous Internet chatter in recent days about Emmy winner Katherine Heigl’s impending death on Grey’s Anatomy finally reached the people at the top of the food chain. As a result, none other than ABC entertainment president Stephen McPherson took it upon himself to squash the notion that series creator Shonda Rhimes and/or her team of writers would be allowed to murder Heigl’s character Dr. Isobel “Izzie” Stevens.
Today at the Television Critics Association’s Summer Tour currently underway in Beverly Hills, California, McPherson officially confirmed that not only is Izzie not dying, but “[t]here’s an unbelievable storyline for her which is really central to everything that’s going to go on this season. We’re really excited about that.”
So, there you have it. Now let’s all put this silly chapter behind us.
