‘Army Wives’ Third Season a Go
Boy, did Lifetime recently deliver some great news for fans of its megahit Army Wives!
If you haven’t already heard, the basic-cable network has made the wise decision to extend its popular military drama for a third season. I think the sky-high, record-setting ratings the series has enjoyed druing the first five episodes of its current sophomore season may have had a little something to do with the swift renewal.
Season Three will contain a total of eighteen episodes, the same amount as the present season, that will begin airing in 2009. Now that’s how you thank the people involved with a series that has become your most successful program ever — show your love by letting them know they’ll be around for a whole lot longer.

The season finale was very disappointing, didn’t leave me waiting for next season, this show is becoming your regular run of the mill soap opera….thanks Lifetime and the show’s writes for a disappointing season
I think this show is great. Having a nephew in the army and 2 nieces married to military men, I see the emotions that happen. And the show gets it right. Especially the 2nd seson premire. My nieces have that problem of “Trying to have a carreer.”
I love this show but wasn’t pleased with the way that it ended. I hope that the third season allows the Holden’s to stay and for Joan to get her position back! I hope season 3 is just as good as the First two seasons. I can’t wait for it to come back!
Army Wives is the best show on tv!! I can’t get enough of it, I bough the first season on dvd and will be buying the second season shortly!! I make my fiance watch every episode with me, he is starting to get just as hooked as I am but will never admit to it, haha!!

Typical guy! The great thing about Army Wives, though, is that each and every episode has something for the male viewers, too. Both the actors and actresses are superb, not to mention the younger cast members. I’m definitely missing my Sunday-night AW fix these days.

The show is returning later this year, Alex, but Lifetime hasn’t announced a definite date yet. As soon as the network does, it will be posted here (and everywhere else probably).
i LOVE this show! im a military wife, so its great to have something like this on air to relate! even if your not a military wife, you can still relate, and thats why this show is amazing!!!
