Tori Spelling Excited to Return to ‘90210’

Tori SpellingIt’s been confirmed that Beverly Hills, 90210 alum Tori Spelling will indeed appear on The CW’s 90210 spinoff of the iconic Fox series. The actress — who just gave birth to her second child, a daughter named Stella Doreen McDermott, on June 9 — won’t be a regular, however. Instead, she will remain Donna Martin, now the owner of an upscale boutique, on a recurring basis.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Spelling talked in-depth about the upcoming series and her work on it. Not only was she eager to be a part of the show from the beginning, but some of that excitement is clearly due to her appreciation of the support fans gave the original series and its stars.

Spelling says, “I owe everything to our 90210 fans. I would be nothing without them, and they’ve always been so loyal.” It’s nice to see an entertainer acknowledging how much of an impact fans can have on a career.

According to Spelling, she will be in the very first episode of the spinoff, although it’s not yet clear if she’ll still be married to David Silver, the character originated by Brian Austin Green.

And just when we thought it was 9021-over!

Seriously, thanks for this update – I didn’t even know this was in the developing stages!
You really stay on top of things, Chandra!

Actually, V.V., I kind of wish I didn’t have to stay on top of this one. As you wrote, “just when we thought it was 9021-over!” Maybe it’ll turn out to be better than any of us are expecting, though…
