‘Samantha Who?’ Casts New Love Interest
When Samantha Who? returns for its second season on ABC, Christina Applegate’s lucky Samantha Newly will have a new potential love match. The equally lucky guy is James Tupper, who’s previous series Men in Trees just ended on ABC.
TV Guide and Michael Aussielo report Tupper is onboard for about three episodes thus far. Moreover, the actor plays a character named Owen, a philanthropist who can’t help but capture Sam’s attention with all that charm and money.
Is this good casting? Well, it will definitely bring in viewers who are still swooning over Tupper from his Trees days, for whatever that’s worth.
