New on DVD Today: The New Adventures of Old Christine
Comedy fans, starting today, the second season of CBS’ underrated yet Emmy-winning sitcom The New Adventures of Old Christine is available in the United States at Amazon.com exclusively.
I have no idea why the studio, Warner Home Video, isn’t distributing the boxed set to the usual crop of retailers like Best Buy and Circuit City, but at least the online option has it priced well right now. As of this writing, the set is selling for a reasonable $29.99, down from a list price of $39.98, which isn’t bad at all for 22 episodes of Julia Louis-Dreyfus & Company’s funny antics.
