Army Wives: ‘Leaving the Tribe’ Spoilers and Previews (6-29-08)
Whew! Lots of action and drama are coming up on the June 29 episode of Army Wives, which has the intriguing title “Leaving the Tribe.” I certainly hope the tribe in question isn’t our group of army wives plus one husband, because I’m not ready to see any of them breaking ties with such a necessary and wonderful form of support.
On the drama side, Denise will strike up a relationship with a new friend who will encourage her to free herself on the motorcycle she recently received; Joan will reveal her pregnancy to her troops; Roland will contemplate becoming a high school counselor, a position that suits him well; and Roxy will finally get a new job to replace her waitressing gig at the Hump Bar, and let me just say, it sure isn’t as “glamorous.”
On the action side, Trevor, still in Iraq, is going to find himself in a tense situation and end up saving the day, not to mention some lives. But will he come out of it unharmed? We’re going to have to wait to see. In the meantime, the following two previews provide a nice warmup for the episode.
Army Wives airs Sundays on Lifetime at 10pm EST.

I personally don’t want anyone to leave. I would like to see The “Major” and Dense work things out. But the competition has got to be high right now, between Catherine Bell and Kim Delany, both very talented actresses. If it has to be anyone leave it think it should be Joan. And of course that would leave Roland the single Dad. That would cover almost all basis of military personel. I would imagine that is the goal of the show.
