Following the addition earlier this month of A-List movie actor William Hurt in a role as a new client of Patty Hewes, FX’s legal drama Damages has now thrown Deadwood star Timothy Olyphant into the mix.
The newcomer will play a romantic interest for Rose Byrne’s Ellen Parsons, whose former significant other was brutally murdered during the series’ first season.
Olyphant’s last television gig was a one-time guest-star appearance on the ABC sitcom Samantha Who?, starring Christina Applegate. The fact that he’s going from a lighthearted comedy to a hard-hitting drama demonstrates his versatility, which should help him fit in well …read more

Apparently, there’s going to be lots of “action” on the June 30 episode of Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and it revolves around prostitute Belle’s latest “assignment” at a hotel, where else?
While taking a break from her activities, Belle encounters a new potential customer downstairs and decides to go for it, if you know what I mean, as in a two-for-one-night type deal. In Plain Sight’s June 29 episode “Who Shot Jay Arnstein” has a top-notch guest star: ER and NYPD Blue veteran Sherry Stringfield.
The actress plays Beth Arnstein, the wife of art dealer Jay Arnstein. Both spouses, plus Jay’s mistress, become Mary’s charges when the dealer trades testimony for safety in the Witness Protection Program. Beth remains clueless about the other woman’s presence … until her husband is shot one night and the you-know-what hits the fan.

Chelsea Traille and Thayne Jasperson because, once again, the judges complained mightily about their routine, a Quickstep number that was very enjoyable to watch and nowhere near as awful as the judges tried to make it seem
Comfort Fedoke and Chris Jarosz because ditto
Kourtni Lind and Matt Dorame because the competition is getting tough and somebody had to be the third couple

Nice! The newest regular on ABC’s Desperate Housewives is a fine, fine addition named Neal McDonough. He will play a new resident on Wisteria Lane who will eventually wind up romantically entangled with one of our divas, as if anybody needed to state that explicitly.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the diva in question is none other than Nicolette Sheridan’s Edie Britt, a character fans were led to believe was leaving the drama-filled lane at the end of the most recent season. The boys of the original Fox series Beverly Hills 90210 have indicated different feelings about The CW’s upcoming 90210 “re-imagination” of the iconic teen drama.
While Jason Priestley, better known as Brandon Walsh to legions of fans, is reportedly interested in returning in a capacity behind the camera, Luke Perry, aka Dylan McKay, has publicly stated he “can’t re-imagine it currently.” Note the adverb “currently” at the end of that quote, however.

I learned two things on last night’s episode of So You Think You Can Dance. First, this season, we don’t have three independent judges assessing each performance but rather a tripartite unit that thinks in unison for the most part. This is why they all say basically the same things at the end of each and every performance. It gets old fast, doesn’t it? Worse, the judges also seem to have already picked their favorites, and their comments show they’re intent on having those dancers advance to the final stages of the competition.

Next on Swingtown, the Millers head to the outback with the Deckers in tow to partake of nature, only to arrive and have the Thompsons, who declined the trip earlier, show up, as well. Talk about uncomfortable.
